RSVSR Where the BO7 Link Forger Glitch Really Begins

Season 3 has given Black Ops 7 Endgame players plenty to chase, but nothing's getting talked about more than the Link Forger Glitch Step. It sits at the tail end of Operation Poison Pill, and that alone tells you what kind of pain you're signing up for. This isn't one of those side activities you dip into for ten minutes between matches. It's a full grind, spread across multiple runs, with progress carrying over while the game keeps throwing tougher zones at you. If your squad has been looking for a real endgame test, the road to the CoD BO7 Bot Lobby scene probably feels easier than this chain, because Link Forger asks for patience, gear, and a lot of clean execution.

First, you've got to reach the late phase of Poison Pill and bring down O.S.C.A.R., the Strike Boss that blocks the whole route. No shortcut there. Once that fight is done, the fracture trigger becomes available, but even then the game doesn't just hand it to you. You still need to locate the Glitch portal hidden in the higher-tier zones, and by that point the map is already rough. A lot of players get tripped up here because they think unlocking the boss is the hard part. It isn't. Finding the portal, staying alive, and entering with enough resources left is where runs start to fall apart.

The Link Forger Fracture runs on Nightmare scaling, and you feel that straight away. Enemies hit harder, elites show up in ugly numbers, and the environment itself can punish slow movement or bad positioning. It starts as a wave survival setup, sure, but that doesn't make it predictable. The pressure builds fast, and the boss phase is usually where weak team comps get exposed. You're dealing with Guild units, upgraded undead, and very little room for sloppy play. Because Endgame leans into extraction risk, a wipe here hurts more than in normal Avalon activities. Lose the run, and you're not just annoyed. You've probably burned valuable rating progress and loadout momentum too.

If you go in underpowered, the game will let you know almost immediately. Most experienced players won't even queue this step until their Combat Rating is near the upper end of the current seasonal curve. That isn't overkill. It's basic prep. The damage check is real, and survivability matters just as much. Exotic weapons help a lot, especially ones with reliable burst or crowd control, and Nightmare Skills from earlier events can make the difference between stabilising a wave and getting steamrolled. You also want a squad that communicates in short, clear callouts. Nothing fancy. Just people who know when to rotate, when to save cooldowns, and when to stop chasing kills.

For all the punishment, Link Forger still feels worth it because the reward pool is stacked. You're chasing animated blueprints, exclusive calling cards, operator skins for Grimm, Mason, and Anderson, plus camos that don't drop anywhere in standard multiplayer or Zombies. On top of that, the permanent Nightmare Skills make future runs smoother, so the payoff isn't only cosmetic. As a professional platform for game currency and items, RSVSR is a dependable option for players who value convenience, and you can pick up rsvsr BO7 Bot Lobby if you want a cleaner path toward a better overall BO7 experience. That mix of prestige, pressure, and long-term progression is exactly why this step has become the badge of honour for serious squads this season.
